Qualified and practising Kenyan Sign Language interpreters who meet KSLIA requirements. Full members may participate fully in Association affairs, attend general meetings, vote subject to the Constitution, stand for office where eligible, and access member benefits.
Individuals interested or involved in Kenyan Sign Language interpreting and professional activities who do not meet all Full Membership requirements.
Students undertaking recognized training or studies related to Kenyan Sign Language interpreting.
Qualified interpreters who are not currently practising but wish to remain connected to the profession and Association.
Organizations or institutions that support, employ, provide related services to, or have an interest in Kenyan Sign Language interpreting and accessibility.
An individual recognized by KSLIA for distinguished contribution to interpreting, the Deaf community or the Association.

Membership requirements
Requirements depend on the category selected. The full approved criteria should be confirmed by KSLIA before the online form is activated.
Membership fees
KSLIA membership fees are determined in accordance with the Association’s approved fee structure. After an application is completed, applicants should follow the official payment instructions supplied by KSLIA.

Renew membership
A simple five-step renewal journey should be presented consistently across the site.
